The first goal of the Distant Worlds 2 expedition has been a massive success.

The mining operation, executed by countless commanders that took the roles of mining, security and support – including fuel rats and hull fixers – involved refining Indite, Gallite, Praseodymium and Cobalt with the primary objective of building an Orbis starport in the Stuemeae FG-Y d7561 system. The station will be utilized in researching the supermassive black hole at the center of our galaxy, the famous Sagittarius A*.

During the week of its execution, which began on the 17th of January 3305, five thousand one hundred ninety-eight commanders contributed 3 million tonnes of the required materials.

Mining equipment was available for outfitting at the Omega Mining Operation station in Omega Sector VE-Q b5-15, although many commanders shipped their own specialized mining ships, to further optimize the resource-extraction activity.

We would like to extend our congratulations to all commanders for this undertaking.

Erimus Kamzel, leader of the expedition,  declared “It is with great pride that we announce the successful conclusion to this resource-extraction initiative. The fleet will now continue its journey, and is scheduled to reach the galactic core in several weeks’ time.”
