Operation Ida, an independent group formed by commanders to assist in the repair of damaged starports, will be launching their second annual Holiday Haul on the 14th of December 3305. This event marks the second anniversary of the first ever Thargoid attack on a station, and will also raise money towards a good cause: The Cancer Research Institute, in memory of Cmdr Ra’kaan, a member of Operation Ida who sadly lost his fight with cancer a few months ago.

The event will run until the 5th of January and include charity live-streams as well as a “One & Done” event, where the group will go all hands on deck as they try to completely repair a station within 24 hours. Many more events are scheduled, including weekend convoys, CQC matches, and more. Any commander wishing to participate can find the details, and how to donate to the charity, on Operation Ida’s website.
