On the 4th of July 3305, representatives from the Fuel Rats announced that they have completed 60,000 rescues of stranded Pilots’ Federation commanders. This 60,000th rescue was carried out by Cmdr NivisOwl

This is just the latest in a series of milestones the Fuel Rats have accomplished since their start in 3301, thanks to their members’ dedication to answering every call for aid.

The Fuel Rats are a commander’s best resource in the event that they misjudge an interstellar trip and run out of fuel. Many commanders can vouch for the professionalism and speed with which they carry out their services, even in the most extraordinary of circumstances. Perhaps their most impressive rescue occurred in December of 3303, when they traveled over 65,000 light years to Beagle Point, one of the most remote star systems currently surveyed.

Commanders who run out of fuel in deep space are encouraged to get help from the Fuel Rats. It happens to the best of us, and there’s no need to suffocate alone out in the black.
