Commander Halo Jones has managed to get both a Sidewinder and a Hauler to travel at over 7000m/s in normal flight by surfing the 8.7G gravity well over the massive crater on Chi Hydrae A7, the location for the “Speed Bowl 1” gravity well speed flight championship announced here last week.
