These are the latest developments in the Thargoid invasion.
For six months, since the attack on Professor Palin’s old base in Maia, the Thargoid war front has been deathly silent, with no signs of Infestation or Incursion.
This changed yesterday with the sudden attack on six systems across the Pleiades and Witch Head Nebula.
Currently, six starbases are in need of evacuation:
- Hanna Enterprise – Witch Head Sector DL-Y d17
- Sherrill Orbital – Witch Head Sector HW-W c1-9
- Karian Vision – Witch Head Sector FB-X c1-11
- Artemis Lodge – Celaeno
- Copernicus Observatory – Asterope
- Cyllene Orbital – Atlas
The Eagle Eye early warning system was late in updating its reports, but is now pointing at each of the systems that came under Incursion, leading many to question whether the system is still fit for purpose.
This surprise attack was met with a swift response from anti-xeno commanders; the Incursions in Asterope and Celaeno were cleared within the first day.
Because of how quickly these Incursions are being pushed back, it is advisable to check the Thargoid Activity Report section of Galnet News to see the current level of Thargoid Presence.
Systems still under Incursion at the time of writing are:

- Witch Head Sector DL-Y d17
- Witch Head Sector HW-W c1-9
- Witch Head Sector FB-X c1-11
